How it works
From nothing to a live post-to-earn widget on your site: create it in the console, connect your X developer app, paste one script tag. Everything below fits in an afternoon.
1Create your widget
Open the console, connect a Solana wallet, and create a widget. The short name you pick becomes its address and cannot change once embedded, so pick one you like. Everything else — the display name, colors, copy, features, scoring — can change any time.
2Bring your X api keys
The widget finds and scores posts using your own X developer app, so your community's data and your api bill stay yours. In the X developer portal:
- Create an app and enable pay-as-you-go api billing on your developer account. X charges per post read; without billing enabled, search requests fail with
client-not-enrolled. - Enable OAuth 2.0 with type Web App, and register the callback url shown in your console (it looks like
https://wenmarketing.app/api/t/<name>/x/callback). - Paste the OAuth2 client id, client secret and the app bearer token into the console's credentials section, then use the test button. Credentials are stored encrypted and are never shown back.
You set a monthly read budget in the console. When it is spent, sweeping stops until the month turns over — a hard stop on your X bill, not a quota.
3Put it on your site
One script tag, anywhere on the page:
<script src="https://wenmarketing.app/embed.js" data-widget="your-name" async></script>
The widget only renders on domains you have registered — the browser itself enforces the frame lock, so copying the snippet to another site shows nothing. While integrating, switch on dev mode to allow localhost.
4What your users see
Your name, your colors, your copy. They connect a wallet, prove it with one signature, link their X account (read-only — the widget can never post for them, by design), and from then on the sweep finds their posts about you, scores them, and shows every verdict as a receipt. Points feed a leaderboard and, if you run one, an airdrop allocation with a per-wallet cap.
- New or tiny accounts are gated or reduced — farms stay out.
- Copypasta counts once, for whoever said it first.
- Deleted posts stop counting on the next sweep.
- Engagement points are capped per post, so one viral hit cannot own the board.
5Pay for it
One subscription per widget, managed through Stripe from the console, with a 14-day trial. If a subscription lapses, the widget stops serving and the sweep stops spending your X reads — nothing is deleted, and it all comes back when billing resumes.
